No longer living in the Big Apple, Jules wondered what to do with all of her creative energy…and immense fashion sense? Jules says it best herself, “I never had a problem finding fabulous clothes. The fashion today is so exciting. But I could not find any large gemstone jewelry that would accent all my fun, bold clothing.” Hence in 2002, the Virginia resident took her favorite visuals: pink and polka dots and created the Jules Reid brand of jewelry. To her surprise, the public eagerly received her designs. Strangers started stopping her on the street to admire her eye candy.

Each piece of jewelry is handmade with natural gemstones (or vintage medallions) and has a sterling silver clasp engraved with the julesreid logo. In addition, each piece is packed in a handmade jewelry pouch made from Indian saris. Jules encourages custom-made orders. After an overwhelming demand from family, friends and local stores, Jules Reid jewelry is now available at Eye of the Needle, Cage and other upscale boutiques around the country. Jules Reid’s jewelry makes a statement whether one is wearing a t-shirt or a vintage dress. "My clients can pack one of my necklaces for a weekend in Nantucket or New York and wear it day or night. It is the perfect “universal” accessory,” shares Jules.
